In den n\u00e4chsten Jahren fehlt der Ort in den vorliegenden Urkunden. Der Chronist Kuno Apelt vertrat deshalb die Ansicht, dass P\u00f6hla erst Ende des 13. Jahrhunderts auf Betreiben der Ritter von Starkenberg gegr\u00fcndet wurde.
